How often do HVAC systems need maintenance?

How long does HVAC equipment last?
Most systems have a life expectancy of 15-25 years, but you can help your system run for as long as possible by scheduling regular maintenance. If you start noticing your energy bills rising or you need constant repairs, it’s time to call an expert for an evaluation — especially if your system is more than 10 years old.
Can I add more ceiling lights to a room in my house?
Yes, adding more light fixtures to a room may require additional wiring, but it can almost always be done. An electrician can determine if there is enough amperage in your lighting circuit to support more fixtures or if more power is necessary.
What does HVAC stand for?
HVAC- Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
It is a system that provides different types of heating and cooling services to residential and commercial buildings. Its function is to provide thermal comfort, humidity control and acceptable indoor air quality.
How long does an installation take?
Every installation is different and every project presents unique installation challenges, but we aim to have most installations completed in one or two days.
What are the most common reasons for HVAC failure?

Do I need a home charger for my EV?

How do I know if my A/C unit is big enough?

Why should I purchase a new heating system?

What is a BTU?
BTU stands for British Thermal Unit – This unit of measure is used to measure cooling or heating capacity; 1 BTU is the amount of heat required to raise (or lower) the temperature of 1 pound of water 1 degree Fahrenheit. There are 12,000 BTU’s in 1 Ton of Cooling.
What about giving me a rough estimate over the phone?
We would love to give you an idea of the costs but is extremely difficult to provide quotes “sight unseen”. It’s especially difficult to diagnose or troubleshoot repair issues over the phone, as there can often be multiple causes/issues.
How noisy is a ductless mini split?
On average, ductless air conditioning units run at about 32 decibels.
To put that into perspective, window units have an average noise level of 50-72 decibels.
When should I call an electrician for my panel upgrade or breaker problem?
If your breaker is tripping and warming up, lights dimming, lights flicker, lights go on and off when you use electrical appliances and air conditioning, you need to call an electrician.
No matter how high or low I set my thermostat, I don't get my house to my desired temperature.
It may be possible that your thermostat is not functioning correctly. However, your heating or cooling system could be in need of some maintenance or may not be properly sized for your home. We recommend contacting us to have your system examined by a licensed HVAC technician.
What size electrical panel do I need?
Decades ago, a 100 amp panel was sufficient for most homes. With the increased number of everyday electronic devices mean that your household needs more power!
Many people choose a 200 amp panel to make sure they have plenty of power.
